In the midst of our world, we sometimes become lost in all that is going on around us. Attending events, celebrating life with friends, being an independent provider, trying to better the relationship with our significant other. We consume so much in our spirit, mind and soul, sometimes we put the very peace that we need on the back burner of life. Consistency failed when we received the blessing, Self control went invisible when the flesh screamed for its desire, loyalty left the building when something we thought was better came along. So in all that we fleshly accomplish without God, we fix ourselves to not have longevity in the accomplished. I describe myself as well as others in my blog, to remind us that the higher power we all live by, under his law, we hand the short end of the stick to much to often. But to God we give glory for another chance to rise in his beautiful creation and thank him for life.
At the Gansevoort Park hotel, on October 19, LA2NYC event was hosted by”Queen of Effortless Chic, Daisy Lewellyn’ along with her fabulous group of girlfriends. Daisy was welcomed in completion of their glam squad, entertaining New York’s finest guest, including Crystal Streets of Oxygen’s ’House of Glam’, Essence magazine Relationship editor, Demetria L. Lucas along with a host of succesful artist and friends. I can’t tell you how much fun I had at my first NYC event, sourrounded by Howard University’s finest and a group of amazing, successful young men and women.
